- We are both a Data Controller and a Data Processor.
Data Controller.
We are the data controller for the personal data you give us when we provide our services to you.
We also collect personal data from you if you send us a request via our website and when you are browsing our website. We are the Data Controller for that personal data.
Data Processor.
We are the data processor for the personal data collected by our clients when they use out software.
In these cases, the clients are the data controllers.
- What information do we collect?If you sign up to Dataphoria on this website we will collect your name, email address, phone number and Company Name, where provided. Where you provide data within the form on this page, the information collected will be as per the fields listed herewith.

Dataphoria will respond within a reasonable period of time to notify the individual of how we will look to assist with the request and of any additional information that may be required to carry out the request.
Should such a request be made, it may not be possible for Dataphoria to assist with the request where the individual does not provide the following details, to enable a confident match to the related database:
- The company that contacted them (as in the sender of the marketing communication – without this, we will be unable to match back your details to the related source)
- First Name
- Surname
- In what form the individual would like Dataphoria to communicate with them regarding the matter (telephone / email are of preference)
- Business name (if applicable to the communication in question)
- Address (if a letter was sent)
- Telephone number (if a telephone call was made to a number owned by the individual)
- Email address (if an email was sent to an email address owned by the individual)
This matching process will be performed within a reasonable period of time and may require the assistance of the related data providers, with which we would need to share the personal information for the related purpose.
Dataphoria are unable in many cases to provide individuals with the option of engaging with us without using their name or under a pseudonym, as it is normally necessary to collect personal data in order to alter or suppress the related personal information, or to respond to a related complaint. General advice and feedback, however, may be available in these instances.

Letter of Appointment of an UK Representative:
According to the GDPR Article 27 controllers or processors not established in the United Kingdom providing goods or services to UK citizens must appoint a representative who is established in the UK.
- The representative should be an additional or alternative point of contact for all data protection queries from the UK
- The representative will be an alternative or additional conduit for all data subject enquiries and requests including the exercising of data subjects rights to information, access, rectification, restriction, portability and notification of processing of personal data by Dataphoria as detailed in this privacy policy.
Dataphoria have formally appointed GDPR Auditing Limited as their UK representative who will make themselves available to the UK Supervisory Authority the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) if required to do so.
